1. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
1. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
Well, since I have the skin complexion akin to a redhead and the troubles that come with that, BUT don’t have the hair color (really, something went wrong in the design, I tell ya!) I’d like to change my hair color to RED. Then I can stop dying it all the time. That gets old. Real fast. I hate it when it grows out and I have to deal with my roots, yikes!
Oh, and I adore my freckles, the more the merrier!!!

2. Write about a time when you got lost.
Only one time???? I am an expert at getting lost…
OK, here goes:
I was living in Ukraine at the time for not so very long and my Russian was still in it’s baby steps. We lived in an area of Kharkov that previously had been a little village before the city had consumed it. I was driving our mini van and my passenger was a neighbour of ours who helped us out with various things.
He directed me to go somewhere where he had some business to attend to. I obliged. We arrived, he popped out and I didn’t have to wait very long before he was back again.
So off we went.
There was only one problem: I didn’t know the way home. But wait, you say, your neighbour should, right?
Uhm, no. His demeanor had changed when he came back from his little business and he was unable to give directions as I found out to my horror. I was a tad slow to realise that in that very short span of time he had become totally drunk !\
And people, he was not a nice drunk… in actual fact, he snarled and shouted. He had become a total different person. I was sompletely shocked. And scared to death.
Eventually, while driving around in my fearful and little panicked state, I found the way home. To this day I have no clue how. But all that mattered to me was to get rid of my neighbour as fast as possible. When he was home, I sighed a huge sigh of relief. HOME was two housed down the road, yeah!

3. Camping or 5 star hotel?
Forever and a day camping. I would soon get bored in a hotel. Still have fond memories of camping trips taken with friends and walking Grand Randonnees in France. Awesome.
I even camped out a whole week in the rain with a friend in Belgium, the Ardennes. Yup, people, it never stopped raining! We saw every pub, café and coffee place in town. Some more than once. I was ever so glad that I bought me a rain suit. Without it I would have been swimming, since we lived in it!

Yup. In Israel if my memory serves me right. Would give again, but they don’t like my blood (meds, what can I say?).

5. Do you have a budget or do you ‘fly by’ most months?
I do have some sort of budget, as in knowing how much to spend on what and what is happening in general re bills and the like, but I do ‘fly by’ at the same time.
For years I had to keep accounts for every dollar cent, euro cent and kopeyki that I had, separating it from my personal money that I accounted for as well, since people were supporting me and I wanted to be conscientious. I was. Too a fault. Good for them all.
But I was really tired of it. So when it wasn’t needed anymore: freeeeeeeeeeeeedom!!!!
